I’ve argued with many people over the last week on why this iPad doesn’t need Flash, and here’s the most diffinitive reason.

I know Flash is a huge part of this internet now, but it won’t be in 2 years.  Code like this is going to make all internet HTML5 based.  After that, what are you missing out on?  Browser games?  Like you’d really want to play a game designed for keyboards and mice on the iPad anyways.  Besides, the App Store has more free games than you’ll ever need and many popular Flash games are ported to it anyways.

Stuff like this is it, it’s the dagger in Flash.  When you don’t have it, you’re missing out on video and games, which Apple has already found better solutions for.  The only other thing you’re missing out on are ads.
